In this training, you will learn about bachata, a social dance from the Caribbean initially derived from bolero. It has since taken on a life of its own and evolved so much as it has traveled worldwide, but one thing remains the same:
the Cuban hips.
The basic dance steps are accented with sensual hip movements and pops that are the very soul of this scintillating dance style. It's believed that you build a stronger connection with your intended partner the smoother and more frequently you move your hips during the dance. In its purest form, bachata is more about expressing your feelings for another than raw passion.
